Jera, the J-rune, which I consider “my” rune, can symbolize, among other things, the results of the year.

Some photos from Tampere. I think I visited this city at least ten times in one year during my studies. However, I we came here again with my children for the autumn holidays.
Tampere is so beautiful and inspiring, I love how the high red brick walls meet the wide water areas and all the space above the water. I love how the city is planned and I appreciate the opportunities it is offering for kids of all ages and adults.

I planned to bike to this place and stay over night there since June. I only got there a few minutes before sunset on the last day of August. But I did it this summer anyway.:)

And my morning coffee was the first autumn coffee this year. Made over fire, poured into coconut cup.

I don’t tolerate violence at all, we never had toy guns at home, so it was a bit unusual when I found myself making the swords and scabbards with kids.🤔

But I think this sport (or just game for us) is full of respect and attention towards the other person like any other martial art. And it is beautiful.

The rule we had: you can fight as much as you want, but you can not hurt the other or break his sword. It worked.

It was very interesting to talk to people from Tampere school of arms and watch their performance as well as shows organised by other historical fencing clubs.

We watched Inside Out 2 movie with kids, and after that I was thinking a lot about the emotions that could have enter Riley’s head at about 40 y.o. Something like this according to my own experience. I know not all of them are pure emotions... And I forgot about inspiration and responsibility, which also rule.
